About Hedley VisickThe Company was started in 1959 by Mr. Hedley Visick, who’s Grandson runs Visick Cars today. Mr. Visick passed away in his nineties some 20 years ago. In the early years Mr. Visick carried out laundry maintenance and steam pipework installations but in 1963 he was joined by his nephew Mr. Michael Hedley Peach, and soon the Company started carrying out domestic heating and plumbing installations whilst still maintaining its involvement in commercial premises. In 1968 Mike Peach became Managing Director and was joined by his wife Jean as Company secretary. Operating from Grove Road premises, The Company expanded with the “1970’s Gas Central Heating Boom”, and Modernisation work was undertaken for numerous Local Authorities, Moving into the 21st Century, and now based in larger premises at Wannock, Mike and Jean’s Sons joined the Company. When Mike retired in 2007 Alan Peach took over as Managing Director with Guy as Co-Director. Alan and Guy have continued to expand the Company and today we have a fleet of vehicles and Engineers providing a professional Plumbing & Heating Service to both Domestic and Commercial customers and Housing Associations throughout East Sussex and beyond. |
